In my 40 years of coming to the SC beaches I have always wanted to visit here. Quaint shops, many one of a kind. I had a great time browsing shops... looking at all the hammock varieties and did a wine tasting!!

I’ve lived in Myrtle Beach for 7 years and have visited for over 30 years, I can’t believe I waited so long to visit. Beautifully landscaped, lots of stores, a couple restaurants and even some cornhole. It was the perfect thing to do on a cloudy day

The best fudge in Pawley's Island. We've been coming to this hidden gem for years. Nestled in the front of the Hammock shops, this store contains handmade mugs and homemade fudge that change seasonally. I'm particularly fond of the peanut butter fudge. They also make an excellent white tiger, which is a combination of peanut butter and vanilla fudge. You can buy seasonal specials like lavender lemon and chocolate-covered cherry in the summer or pumpkin and apple crumble in the fall. ** UPDATED BELOW: Unfortunately, not wheelchair friendly. There are a few steps on both ends of the shop, making it difficult, or impossible for those with wheelchairs or larger mobility aids to access. *Edited - The owner has replied, and reminded me that the front entry does have a side ramp for wheelchair access! I apologize for my mistake.

Oct 13th 2022 Cute little shopping spot. Many little ahops in a shady well laid out village. Watched a nice gentlemen making the hammock. He was very entertaining and very personable. Looking forward to going back here when I have more time.

We love to visit this place every year while we're on vacation. We always take a drive to Pawley's Island a couple of times while we are in the area. The Original Hammock Shop has a great selection of shirts and rainbow sandals. The entire staff is always great .

Great selection of stores and restaurants. It’s downtown Pawleys. From Christmas to tourist gifts to voodoo to minerals it has it. And you can’t leave without buying a hammock. Local Resturant is a favorite of the locals as well as amazing burgers and drinks at Bisquits. A must stop for tourists as well as locals. And your kids can play in the playground as you shop
